ALL KINDS OF EVERYTHING!

A bit of everything here this time, firstly Ziva, now 15 weeks old.  Had our second week at Dog training.  Such fun and well worth going along too.  Lots of lead work this week and reinforcing the sit down sit up and stand.  Once again after the three quarters of an hour most of the puppies, including Ziva, were so tired she once again slept through until the late afternoon.
She has been helping with our new garden room that is growing on the back of our house.  'Its taking a long time' she says 'but it will be just right for me when its finished'!!    Huh!! that's what she thinks!

Still not too big for cuddles!! but more than an armful now!

Enjoying her walks - everything is all new and wonderful!

On Sunday it was Burton Armed Forces Day - Paul and I sneaked away on the bike for a few hours to join in with their parade.  The pipes were amazing as the parade marched.  What a huge chap he was.

Hubby Paul and Damo enjoying the moment!

Some tranquillity in my garden when everyone is asleep!  a very late Azelea

and my Peony which has finally flowered this year! must be the wet and the cold!

1st morning at doggie school!

It was Training Classes for Zeva this morning!
There were 4 other puppies there, ranging in age from 10 weeks to the 6 months, a delightful little CockerPoo, no bigger than Ziva's head! a Labrador, a terrier and I am not sure what the las
t little pup was! I shall have to investigate further next week!
It was very good fun and WE did both learn a lot, something well worth taking puppies along too.
We learnt to sit, down, sit up and stand - stood still for a vet check and a recall down the hall.
Ziva is still asleep from her 1 hour out this morning! Roll on next Wednesday!
You must think that all she does is sleep! after all these sleepy pics - I can assure you when she is awake she does not stand still long enough for the camera to capture her!
Its now nearly 16.00  4pm and she is still asleep!  Shame we can not do that every day!
I have even changed the bed today and tidied the house and played in the garden as well as list a Teddy Bear for adoption on my website!

Working, Playing and sleeping!

Beautiful sunny and rather warm bank holiday weekend saw us starting to build an outdoor room on the back of the house.  First off was the decking to be laid.  Help, as ever was at hand given by the youngest member of our household!

Zeva, is now 12 weeks old and becoming very comfortable in her new surroundings, sleeping all night now until 6.30am and still eating 4 times a day, she has eaten 4 kg of food in the two weeks we have had her and gained 2 kg in weight! and almost doubled her size, that is some going for a little girl!

Mind you it has all been too much for our eldest family member, Chloe is just happy to watch the 'youngsters' work!

Afraid that the middle member of our family Jazz, was no where to be seen all day! more than happy to remain indoors out of the way of  all and the noise!

And then it all got too much in the heat for the human!  and now just a few minutes later it was all too much for Zeva as well !

To be continued......................................... x

Where have I been?

Well for the past few weeks I have been planning and waiting for the arrival of this little bundle below:

She has now arrived much to the amazement of Chloe and Jazz

All this heavenly sleeping may well be a thing of the past

Our pup was born on the 2 March 2013 and is an Alaskan Malamute.  Out of interest her
kennel club name is Qimugta Misty which means 'puller'  > She is a sled dog afterall!
However we have named her ZIVA, far more pronounceable and short and very sweet.
Picture taken today between bouts of sleeping, eating, weeing and pooing!

This is the first time I have entered into my workroom since Ziva arrived, you certainly forget what hard work they are as puppies.
